GHS Adds OB/GYN Services to Granville Primary Care, Oxford

Granville Health System (GHS) recently announced that Granville Primary Care, Oxford will add obstetric and gynecologic services.

The name of the practice will change to Granville Primary Care & OB/GYN. Dr. Cassandra Hornbuckle will join the practice on January 6, 2020. Granville Primary Care & OB/GYN is already scheduling appointments for Dr. Hornbuckle starting January 6, 2020. Patients can make an appointment by calling 919-693-6541.

Hornbuckle attended medical school at Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ and served in the United States Navy for more than 10 years. She completed her service in July 2014 as a Lieutenant Commander.

She has practiced in Oxford since 2014.

Among her specialties, Dr. Hornbuckle provides services and treatment in:

  • Routine care for pregnancy
  • Vaginal or Cesarean delivery
  • High risk pregnancy, including management of diabetes, hypertension, thyroid disorders, coagulation disorders, etc.
  • Routine health maintenance including PAP smears, birth control, etc.
  • Hormonal disorders, including menopause and PCOS
  • Abnormal PAP and abnormal/heavy bleeding
  • Pelvic organ prolapse
  • Pelvic pain and endometriosis
  • Fibroid tumors
  • Irregular menstrual periods
  • Post-menopausal issues

Dr. Akiva Gimpelevich will also join the practice early in 2020, offering quality OB/GYN services.

The practice is located at 110 Professional Park Drive on the campus of Granville Medical Center.
