Granville Health System Gives Back to the Community in Honor of Hospital Week

Granville Health System (GHS) recently celebrated National Hospital Week. A portion of the planned activities included an opportunity for employees of the Health System to donate health and hygiene items to the local food pantry, ACIM (Area Congregations in Ministry).

Kristine Williford, ACIM Pantry Manager said, “Many thanks to our community partner, Granville Health System. Their donation of these items is a great way to make a real impact on the health of this community.”

GHS employees donated nearly 100 pounds of health items to the organization, most of which ACIM volunteers estimated would be distributed to families in need before the end of the day.

For the past 100 years, Granville Health System has been delivering quality health care close to home. To meet the growing needs of our community, Granville Health System has expanded its services throughout Granville County, offering convenient access to medical care where you work and live.
