Who We Are

Since the early 1990’s Granville Health System has enjoyed the services of Volunteers who have given countless hours of volunteer services. We offer a variety of non-patient care areas of services. Our goal is to match your talents and interests with the needs of Granville Health System. The Volunteer Services Department coordinates the activities of all volunteers. We will make every effort to match your assignment with your skills, your interests and your schedule.

Auxiliary Volunteers

Auxiliary Volunteers are comprised primarily of people seeking a long term commitment. The Auxiliary is governed by a board and is involved in fund-raising activities which allow for the purchase of needed equipment, funding for patient comfort programs, educational programs promoting healthy living, medical equipment and other needs as determined by Granville Health System.

Junior Volunteers

Junior Volunteers are students 14 to 21 years of age and are in high school or college. Juniors work in a variety of areas throughout Granville Health System. This program is particularly helpful to students who are pursuing a health care career and are short term volunteers considering a future in the medical field. It is a good opportunity to determine if the hospital is an environment in which they would like to work one day. All juniors must attend an orientation program to work in the summer months and many continue to work during the school year when time permits.
